The goal of the 416th Rifle Regiment, 112th Rifle Division is to accurately portray the common Soviet "Rifle" Infantryman of World War Two (1939-1945) in all aspects. Our impression focuses on the history, lives, uniforms/accoutrements, and encampments of these Krasnoarmietsy. So as to provide an educational tool, for both the public and fellow reenactors, to convey the story of a country that lost 29+ million of its population staving off the German invasion, and providing the anvil for which the allies could forge victory. The 416th will remain apolitical and will not act as a vehicle for either current or past Communist parties of any country. The unit will work towards the goal above, have fun and always remember the unit motto; "Strive for Authenticity."
